Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Cat 5 Hurricane with wind gusts up to 215 mph, is scheduled
to make imminent landfall, devastating Jamaica Tuesday morning, October 28th, 2025.
Never in recorded history, has a storm of this intensity made landfall in Jamaica.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to update our list of disaster relief efforts with how you can help our friends in Jamaica as more information becomes available.

Operation BBQ is a Kansas City nonprofit founded by big-hearted pit masters in the wake of the Joplin, MO tornado in 2011.​ OBBQ feeds communities delicious KC BBQ after disaster strikes and strives to enrich heroes' lives every day.
